A Record-Breaking Year of Results at Salesian It has been another record-breaking year for our college students, continuing Salesian's sustained track record of high achievement over many years. 42% of all grades were A* or A with an amazing 45 students achieving straight A*-A results. 75% of all grades were A*-B with 91% being A*-C. Celebrating Culture Day with students and staff wearing vibrant colours, listening to upbeat music and sharing delicious food from different cultures. A friendly game of Tug of War was arranged where we had Europe vs Asia, America vs Africia, and Europe vs West Countries competing! Year 8 Wellbeing Retreat On Monday and Tuesday, our Year 8 students took a meaningful pause from their usual routine to reflect, reconnect, and recharge during a special Catholic-focused wellbeing retreat. Yesterday, many KS3 students took part in a charity colour run and dressed in white shirts while getting caked with powdered paint! Thank you to the students for your enthusiasm and getting stuck in to raise money for Rinaldi's house charity. Another thank you to the staff who volunteered to throw the paint (definitely getting their own back), and to Miss Welland for organising the whole event.

Inter-Salesian Athletics made a triumphant return last Friday at Woking Sportsbox! Students competed in high jump, long jump, shot put, discus, javelin, hurdles and relays. Overall scores were close, but in the end, Chertsey took home the trophy for the girls and Farnborough for the boys. Year 12 Corkology YE South East Regional Finals! After winning the Surrey Young Enterprise Best Company, seven Year 12 students attended the Young Enterprise Headquarters in London on Wednesday. Despite fierce competition, the students made the whole of Salesian incredibly proud, bringing home another trophy for Best Digital Presence. Yesterday, the year 10 students had an amazing time designing prototypes based on their ideas of solutions to air pollution.
