A Level Results 2020

Against a backdrop of national controversy, students at Salesian Sixth Form College have once again celebrated excellent A’ level grades this week.  Students achieved highly across the board and we were delighted to see the vast majority gain their first place university choice. There have been countless success stories and as usual, several students gained straight A* grades and a record number were successful in gaining places at either Oxford or Cambridge universities or to study medicine or other highly competitive courses.

Regardless of the fact that these results were awarded through a different mechanism this year, we know that this cohort of students is a particularly special group of young people, who are destined for great things. We are delighted that they have now been awarded the results they deserve. They have worked exceptionally hard and demonstrated great diligence and maturity throughout their time at the college and we would like to thank them and their wonderfully supportive parents for all they have brought to our school community as well as congratulate them on all they have achieved. Their teachers, who have also done an excellent job, couldn’t be prouder of them and we wish them every success and happiness for the future.
